Fallow Ridge & the valley

Plumbing that is
fixed properly
the first time.

Leaks, blocked drains, cold showers and tired pipework — handled by a small team that explains the fault, agrees the price before starting, and leaves the room clean.

  • Licensed & insured
  • Fixed price agreed up front
  • Workmanship guarantee
  • You know the cost first

We diagnose, then quote. Nothing is unscrewed, cut or replaced until you have said yes to a figure.

  • One tradesperson, start to finish

The person who takes the job does the job. No handovers halfway through and no repeating yourself.

  • We clean up after ourselves

Floors sheeted, old parts taken away, and a quick walk-through of what changed before we leave.

What we handle

Domestic plumbing, drainage and hot water

If your problem is on this list, we can usually book it within the week — and sooner when water is actively escaping.

How a job runs

Three steps, no surprises

  1. Step one

    Tell us what is happening

Send the form with a short description. The more detail about where the water is and when it started, the better we can plan the visit.

  2. Step two

    We confirm a window

You get a reply with a date and a time window that suits you, plus what we expect to bring. Urgent water escapes jump the queue.

  3. Step three

    Diagnose, quote, repair

We find the cause, show you, and agree the price. Most repairs finish the same visit; larger work gets a written plan before anything is opened up.

A tradesperson in work clothes concentrating on a repair, tools laid out beside them. Neatly finished bathroom fittings with a chrome tap over a clean white basin.

Why the work holds up

Careful pipework is quiet pipework

Most of the call-outs we see are repairs of repairs — a joint pushed together dry, a waste run laid without fall, a valve left where nobody can reach it. We would rather spend an extra hour doing the section properly than come back to it next winter.

That means proper isolation before we start, fittings matched to the pipe rather than whatever is in the van, and a pressure check before the panel goes back on.

  • Named parts and brands on every quote, so you can see what you are paying for.
  • Access panels left usable, not sealed over, for whoever comes next.
  • A written note of what was changed, kept on file for future visits.

Where we work

Fallow Ridge, the lower valley villages and the surrounding farmland. If you are just outside that line, ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Before you book

Questions we are asked most

How is the price worked out?

We charge for the job, not the clock. After looking at the fault we give you a single figure covering labour and parts. If the work turns out to be smaller than expected, the figure comes down.

Do you take out-of-hours calls?

For active water escapes, yes. Send the form and mark the timing as urgent — describe where the water is coming from and whether you have been able to reach the stopcock.

What do you need from me on the day?

Clear access to the affected area and to the stopcock, somewhere to park close by, and an adult on site who can approve the quote. Everything else we bring.

Can I supply my own parts?

You can, and we will fit them. Our workmanship guarantee still covers the installation, but owner-supplied parts are covered by their own manufacturer warranty rather than by us.

Do you handle full bathroom projects?

Yes — first fix through to sealing and testing. We work alongside tilers and electricians where needed and will set out a running order before the first day.
